“Let’s gift them joy & wipe their tears
Motivate all who are facing fear
Share what you have
On Christmas
Be someone’s Santa
This year”
The year 2020 is truly a year of gratitude and compassion. The year might have begun and continued on an unhappy note, but that should not stop the caring and giving from the heart.
And what better way to celebrate Christmas than to be a Santa to someone out there in need!
Of course, due to covid-19 situation, we cannot plan a surprise get together for kids and play the role of Santa in it but there are many other ways to spread the warmth.
Here’s what you can do.
Arrange Gadgets for Children’s Education
Schools are running online classes these day, but unfortunately many children are unable to attend those classes for lack of a good mobile phone.
You may gift your old phones (or even new ones) that are working well, to underprivileged children and light the lamp of knowledge for them.
Drop Groceries at Needy People’ Door
Just visualize, when a needy family finds a pack of essential items on their doorstep, what will be their response at that time? They will be thrilled for sure!
So, keep some grocery items with you, go to a nearby shantytown, and drop them at someone’s house. Just try this, you will be filled with a great sense of contentment.
Offer a Sweet Gesture to Someone in Family
This year has caused financial upside down in the life of millions of people. There might be someone in your family who also would be going through a tough time.
You can be a secret Santa for them. You may gift something to them that they need badly. This sweet gesture would let them know how you care for them.
Contribute in a Fund Run by Any Social Service Organisation
Old-age homes, social service organisation, orphanages, and religious organisations run many charity programmes, distribution and care drives. You can offer to them whatever you want and that will also make someone’s Christmas beautiful.
Give it a try. It feels good to become someone’s real secret Santa.
In fact, there could be diverse ways to help someone smile and feel safe despite difficult times. This Christmas, think about it and help someone in whatever way you can.
The fact is who ever has the true intention of helping others with a selfless motive is the real Santa Claus. This year, let’s go a little out of our way and make someone’s festive season enjoyable.
Merry Christmas!
