The Gift

Glittered, bowed ribbons, some packed in brown paper some in shining wrapper, some loosely packed, some boxed in tact; all kinds out there, holding something special to reveal the gift. The ultimate talent, something that separates you from the crowd, something you have in unique, what is it that you think you are good at, something that you excel in; that is your unique talent, we all have a unique talent and for those of you who do not have it yet, you can’t be luckier because God has given you the talent to explore. You should be adventurous enough to look for unique opportunities, beat all the odds and succeed in life.

Bravery is a gift even the greatest people covet.

For the ones who are still exploring, you are lucky because only a chosen few have the opportunity to explore and start from scratch. Children often get pushed into practices they aren’t naturally inclined towards, and it results in them never realizing their true potential. God has designed us all in a very unique manner, and the beauty of life is in discovering that unique design which makes us special; which makes you, you. It is not important for you to know how to sing or dance; talents are not always idealistic, they cannot be judged. Kindness, harmony, leadership are much bigger gifts God has bestowed upon a few; your ability to understand others and to heal them is a talent not everyone is blessed with. Joan of Arc at age 18 led the French army to victory over the English. Bravery is a gift even the greatest people covet.

You often meet people who say they are talentless, who feel completely useless. Let them know that they are wrong. Everyone has a God-given gift that may be completely out of the box and that is why they still haven’t found their true calling. It is not your thoughts that are holding you back, it is often people whose words are still bothering you; the people who doubt you and the ignorant society which has set norms for you to follow, who they are the ones who have asked you to give up on your dreams, pulling you down to their level. You don’t have to listen to them, you are limitless and you have to believe in yourself and in your ideas.

 A dictionary, which didn’t have the word “impossible”

What they don’t know is that every professional was once an amateur who did not give up. Losers are the ones who think they have lost, the ones who have accepted their fate and are ready to live with it. The successful ones are those who purchased a dictionary, which didn’t have the word “impossible” in it. Google 10 most successful people, read about them and you will find that before succeeding in life they all failed at least once.

Failure is not a negative word

Failure is not a negative word, it is part of success, and failure in fact is the first step towards success. We are all talented in our own ways, and at times you may come across someone better at a skill, same as yours, but that doesn’t make you any less of a person. It is a calling for you to, first, be as good as they are, and second, to not stop practicing. Do not let negativity flow in you; you have to learn not to defeat the other but to push yourself to succeed. God only helps those who help themselves, believe in yourself and have faith in God and you shall be unstoppable. You were born to make a difference, but if you choose to remain average, it is entirely your fault, not anyone else’s because at the end of the day, it is your life.

So, set out to achieve the impossible, think outside the box and be fearless. You should welcome challenges because life is full of opportunities. You never know at what turn God will be waiting for you with his arms wide open, offering you a challenge that will set your life apart.
