Peace Brings Insight

Peace Brings Insight

A Guru teaches you to stay still in present and calm to make your mind peace ful like as still as a lake, where even when someone throws a stone in the lake, it only gets disturbed for a moment and then resumes to its calm state.

Peace is like a delicate flower, which is flowering/blossoming inside you. If you nurture it continuously then you can feel the fragrance of life around you. Nurture your soul with love and care; take time out from this chaotic world dive deep into your own self. If you look around for peace, you won’t find it, but if you look inside yourself, you will. Peace is an inside job and not an outside emotion.

The feeling of peace comes from within with an empty mind reflecting all the good of the world as well as of your own self. One simply needs to figure out what brings them peace. To get the answer, one needs to introspect extensively; one needs to talk to their inner spirit and must be able to shut out their demons. Silencing the noise inside you will allow your soul to speak to you, giving you an insight into what one needs to attain peace.

With meditation and yoga, one connects to their soul and finds secret passages within themselves, unlocking the doorways to mystic powers realizing the way to calmness and peace. When your soul is at peace, it reflects in you and it does not conspire against you but helps you achieve all that you wish to acquire. When one is at peace, one can reflect what others think or feel, hence empathizing with them on a higher level. A guru is a mirror showing us our flaws and helping us correct them; they make you see yourself as you are within. With self-realization, the soul is complete and does not need any material objects to be peaceful.

We all are running after world peace but to achieve world peace is a farfetched concept when we can’t even attain peace within ourselves. Not one person, when asked, can say that they are at peace; an internal commotion, chaotic thoughts and emotional outbursts are things everyone is prone to. When one is not peaceful at the grass-root level of their own existence, how can they possibly plan on achieving world peace?

Charity begins at home, and peace begins from within, when one is at peace, the peace they emit would reflect in their personality and hence help others attain peace as well. Peace is attained when the pure vibes of the universe are sent out and pure vibes of others are absorbed. Positive vibes calm one’s nerves and help one focus on the present and live in the present, for that is how one is supposed to live. Why do we worry about the past when we cannot get back what is gone, worrying about it won’t help the present moment; with the future yet to come, one cannot alter the unknown. This shakes up the present and no attention is paid to the present moment.

Think of it as one is getting a picture clicked and if they keep moving or fidgeting around, the picture clicked gets blurred, to get a clear picture clicked one needs to stay still and peaceful. When one lives in constant worry of the past and future they jeopardize their present. One simply needs to ask, is worrying about the past and future worth ruining the gift of today, which is a present from God.

A Guru teaches you to stay still in present and calm to make your mind peaceful like as still as a lake, where even when someone throws a stone in the lake, it only gets disturbed for a moment and then resumes to its calm state. The lake is always calm but not harsh, the lake is not dead, it posses life it is just at peace. Our minds and our hearts should be at peace, possessing life and the purpose of life, the outside negativity should not affect us in any way.
