Be proud of your creativity & intellectual property

God has given each human being the power to imagine. The power of imagination is actually the key attribute that gives rise to all creativity, innovation and artistry. So, if you are a creative person say thanks to God for that and use the power of creativity to come up with novel solutions to various problems. And when it comes to encouraging creativity and innovation, Intellectual Property (IP) serves the right purpose.

Celebrating World Intellectual Property Day

Globally, World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated to make people understand how IP rights encourage creativity and knowledge. This year’s World IP Day is even more important as here the emphasis is on innovation and supporting the efforts to create a greener future for all.
And when it comes to care for our Mother Earth, creativity has a big role to play.
All inventors and innovators should take the opportunity to talk and connect with each other for using the power of imagination for improving the lives of people through beautiful creations for a green future.

Green inventions must be encouraged

Further, it is wonderful to see how Indian innovators are coming up with unique eco-friendly inventions that may actually play a big role in making the planet healthier and greener.
Many innovations like the Solar Power Tree (developed by an Indian Research Institute); Edible Cutlery (an innovation by a Telangana-based entrepreneur); Roads made out of plastic waste (Based on a great technology by a Madurai-based Chemistry Professor); and the portable biogas plant (Developed by a former Indian Navy Office) are a few of many such examples of green innovations. As Indians, we should be proud of such developments.

These and many such inventions make lives easier and IPRs for such green inventions are the need of the hour so that more creative minds can get encouragement.

Time for the Youth to come forward

Also, the youth have an incredible power of imagination in them. They should be alert about their inherent and God-gifted power and use that for innovations. They should understand they have a largely untapped source of power within them- their mind. It can be utilized to its full potential with the power of Yoga and meditation.
They should have a fresh perspective on their surroundings and they must have a ‘hunger’ for a better and greener future. If they will use their full potential, genuinely, they can drive action for great innovations after taking some efforts.

The youth should figure out how IP rights can support their goals, create opportunities to develop skills and make a positive impact on the place around them. Throughout their journey, different skills development centres should support their ambitions to build a better tomorrow.

Long Live Creativity

Let’s understand that the youth are the thinkers, inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs, and the wonderful creators of tomorrow. Through their creativity, young people may drive positive changes anywhere.
Let World IP rights Day celebrate this inspiring generation of change-makers and let them be proud of their creativity and intellectual property.
Long live the resourcefulness, creativity, and courage of young creators and innovators.
