On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the 4-day Shiv Anand Mahotsav was organised at Anand Dham Ashram in New Delhi.

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the 4-day Shiv Anand Mahotsav was organised at Anand Dham Ashram in New Delhi. On 16th February, the first day of the event, Dr. Archika Didi along with her father HH Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj and Gurumaa inaugurated the newly-constructed Sumeru Parvat at Ashram’s premises. Then Didi ji with Maharaj ji performed Pran Pratishtha (the consecration process) of Shivalinga and the idols of Bhagavan Ganesha, Bhagavan Kubera and Devi Lakshmi installed inside the Sumeru Parvat alongside the 12 Jyotirlinga mounted at the site of the Sumeru Parvat. The entire process was followed by a yagya. Devotees attended the event with great zeal.

In the morning of 17th February, the 2nd day of the event,

Didi ji led a guided Shiva-Shakti meditation session at Satsang Hall. People got a deeper understanding of meditation and its impacts in our day-to-day lives. Post this, Didi ji, along with Maharaj ji, participated in the Shiva Shakti Mangal Yatra – a grand procession celebrating the magnificent Maha Shivratri. Everyone took part in this celebration with great enthusiasm. The sounds of musical instruments, holy chants brought amazing energy to the event. In the evening, Didi ji met with the students of Gurukul and had a great conversation with them. She also visited the premises of Anand Dham Ashram.

On 18th February, the day of Maha Shivratri, Didi ji led insightful Shiva-Shakti meditation session at Satsang Hall. After this profound meditation session, Didi ji along with Maharaj ji and Gurumaa performed rudrabhishek of Shivalinga. Many devotees also took part in this holy ritual of offering flowers, milk, water, gangajal, incense, deep, etc. to Shivalinga while chanting the holy mantras with brahmins. In this event, rudrabhishek of around 1.5 lakh Parthiv Shivalinga (Shivalinga made of mud/sand) was carried out. This was followed by the immersion ritual of the Parthiv Shivalingas in the holy Gangajal by Maharaj ji and Didi ji. The holy Gangajal used in the rudrabhishek was specially brought from Rishikesh to Pashupatinath Mandir in Anand Dham Ashram a week before the starting of Shiv Anand Mahotsav. During this, Didi ji addressed the devotees and admired them for their dedication, devotion, love and faith with which they worshipped Mahadev. She said that Mahadev was pleased with their service and had blessed all of them.

Everyone presented there experienced the divine aura surrounding the premises of ashram. Later, Didi ji participated in Shiva-Shakti Kripa Yagya with Maharaj ji and Gurumaa which was followed by aarti at Kailash Shikhar. The powerful chants of Har Har Mahadev echoed everywhere and filled the entire atmosphere with great energy and liveliness.

In the evening, the Shivaratri festivities began with Shiva Tarang programme. Famous bhajan singer Ajay Singh displayed his heart-winning performance by singing jubilant bhajans of Shiva. Then there was a Satsang with Didi.

At night, Didi ji carried out rudrabhishek at Pashupatinath Mandir with Maharaj ji. Then she performed Shiva aarti at the temple and Sumeru Parvat.

On 19th February 2023, the 4th and final day of Shiv Anand Mahotsav, Dr. Archika Didi led another guided Shiv-Shakti meditation session in the morning where people meditated with her chanting the holy mantra Om Namah Shivaya. Didi ji also guided them on connecting with the universe through using unique meditation techniques.

After this, a Kalash Yatra was carried out by all the devotees. The event was graced by Maharaj ji and Didi ji by riding a chariot together. Then Didi ji participated in the inauguration ceremony of Sumeru Parvat and 12 Jyotirlingas. During this event, the genealogy of Dharmakosh members was also buried. In addition to this the members of Dharmada Seva performed a pooja of Shri Yantra placed near Sumeru Parvat. During the entire 4-day event, many people met with Didi ji and poured their hearts out to her. Didi listened to everyone and blessed them.

The 4 days Shiv Anand Mahotsav concluded with the aarti of Mahadev at Sumeru Parvat.
