Focus on your Inner Joy!

Inner joy means you have a sense of emotional well-being, peace, and contentment in your life despite issues related to money, job, relationships, etc. Many people, however, believe it’s tough to focus on inner joy in today’s struggling life, and sometimes, they are right. But it is not impossible as well.

Have you ever watched balancers who walk on ropes and showcase their acrobatic skills? Due to their incredible balancing skills never fall down. Through practice, they know which side to bend if the wind starts blowing at a fast pace.

Likewise, a person who tries to focus on inner joy understands in which situation he has to bend, how to start a day, how to talk to others, and behave. He understands it all and establishes balance within.

Pay Attention to Your Mind

When a baby is in the cradle, a mother’s full attention is towards the child only. While performing her daily tasks, her attention remains focused on her baby and she is instantly ready to help her baby when called upon. She never says I am busy right now; I can’t come.

Likewise, focus your attention on the mind if it cries like a baby in some situations. If you are troubled due to someone, if someone is hurting you and your mind doesn’t like it, do not tell your disturbed mind that I am busy right now. Look within yourself, understand the matter that is troubling you and take the right action. It will pacify your mind.

Never Get Too Busy

Often ‘I am busy’ is the favourite catchphrase of many people. They have made this their status and they think if I am not busy then I am not successful in life. Know that, you don’t have to get ‘too busy, rather you have to become ‘easy’. Make the status of your mind, ‘I am easy’ and not busy. Do the self-talking. Talk to yourself and make yourself easygoing.

And most importantly, refrain from blaming others when you are in a state of stress. Generally, what do people do? They focus completely on the outer condition.  Be open minded and forgiving. Do not feel hurt too easily and never hurt others with your words. Adopt an attitude of ‘taking things easy’ in life.

Habits Also Matter!

Generally, people react to situations according to their habits. And many people are habituated of getting away from their inherent inner joy. They succumb to the situations of the outer world. How you respond to a certain situation, it depends completely on you. Work on your mental programming and realize your connection to your habits.

If any habit is creating a disturbance in your mind, start working on that. You can work on it through consciousness.

So, talk to yourself and every morning when you wake up and when you go to sleep at night, make yourself peaceful through positive affirmations and come out of any bad impression or habit. This will help you focus on your inner joy.
