Is Fear the base of your Lif - Read & Analyze

We fear a lot, no wonder; we are brought up to be fearful. In the initial stages of life, we are taught to speak, and later in life we are taught to hold our tongue.

We fear a lot, no wonder; we are brought up to be fearful. In the initial stages of life, we are taught to speak, and later in life we are taught to hold our tongue. Speaking our minds suddenly becomes offensive; speaking while two elders are speaking is the worst thing to do. Our opinions only seem to matter if spoken with the intent to induce a fear in our audience.Today, the base of life is fear and the base of fear is insecurity. It begins with the fear of what will happen tomorrow and eventually leads to the fear of what will happen to us after we die.
The fear of riding on two wheels for the first time, the fear of heights, the fear of hospitals, the fear of not being accepted, the fear of letting go, the fear that your slightest move might prove you wrong, after which you become too scared to try anything new. We live by our fears; we have adjusted our lives around them instead of facing them. If the road home is dark and lonely, we stay where we are instead of facing our fear of the dark. A child struggling with a subject like Mathematics is afraid to confront his fear of Mathematics or confront his parents because he fears being scolded, and eventually develops a phobia, which leads to a weakness that could have been avoided. Instead of scaring our children into believing there will be no future if they are bad at studies, we should encourage our children to do the things they are interested in doing so that one day they may shine at doing the things they love. Insurance companies base their business on our fears, our fear of death, our fear of losing our property and our loved ones. Fear falls out like rain and only the strong and creative survive the cloudburst. We are born in fear and we die in fear, and during our daily sessions of fear, we forget how to live. We forget that we are only temporary, our bodies are simply vessels and our soul is eternal
Humans were not made to fear any creature on Earth, we often confuse God to be a temperamental bully who punishes us for not living life the way we ought to; the right path being to worship and praise his name all day for the rest of our life. God is not to be feared, He is to be loved, He is not our enemy; He is our friend who is always there for us, someone we can count on. It is not wrong to fear something but it is wrong to not combat it; that was never the purpose of our lives. We were born to make a difference in this world through our talents. The actor and comedian Jim Carrey had once said, “What is it that this world needs that I can offer through my talent that is all one needs to figure out”; one can never make a difference, not in this life, if they never step out of their comfort zone. We live in the hope that someday some super human will come and rescue us from our miseries but what we don’t realize is that that super human lies within us and may in fact be us. God works in mysterious ways but He works through fearless humans who have what it takes to follow His instructions, which is why we say, ‘God helps those who help themselves’.
Spirituality and love for God does not require one to give up on their family and responsibilities; that is what cowards do to avoid their duties. God has only asked us for one thing, devotion. 10 minutes spent with God are far better than an eternity of distracted devotion. One doesn’t have to be in a temple to prove his devotion; God is anyway too big to fit within the walls of a building merely made of bricks and cement. The physical presence is unnecessary; we need to realize that God is everywhere. God never asked any human to offer Him food or to worship Him, or pray to nature; instead plant trees, feed humans, help the needy and He shall be satisfied to see one of His workers fulfilling their duties with devotion and honesty.
It is asked of us to be God fearing, but why fear someone you love. God is our protector, our savior, so why fear Him? Fear is of the unknown; when God resides in all and everything, then He is a part of us, so why fear him. However fear of God to some extent is necessary, or else humans will lose track of their purpose, however love without respect is futile. Respect when inculcated, builds you up for who you are meant to be. With respect we have no reason to fear.
