A Deterministic Mind Brings Victory
What do I want to do with my life?
Have you ever delved upon this question? If not, then with a calm mind contemplate on it. Your whole life- your struggles, disappointments, victories, and achievements- depend on this simple yet deep question. And when you probe in different layers of this mystery, you will realize your true self, which is achievable through KarmYog.
For that, you must move like a seeker with a firm determination and single mindedness. Curb your desires. People with endless materialistic desires in life face are unsuccessful in life because they wander in different directions. Their energy is divided. They want to attain everything in life, and those who have such boundless desires are unable to accomplish anything in life. Ultimately, they face failure.
Then, how to succeed?
Lord Krishna states the Mantra of success. In the Bhagavad Gita, He says, attain a deterministic mind- a mind transfixed in a single direction. When the mind moves in a single direction, energy gets amalgamated, and such an integrated energy brings success. A deterministic mind works on a single aim and leads a man to success. Think of a target in life, push your life towards that target, eventually you shall realize success. Do not deviate from the target. Otherwise, you will get trapped in the web of desires. If you are determined, if you have a mind that can make right decisions, you will achieve your goal.
But the Mind is Indecisive
Write the thoughts emerging in your mind in a journal for two minutes. You will be surprised by seeing your own writing- multifarious thoughts, all moving in different directions. The man whose thoughts are not stable, cannot get success in life. The same mind will tell you to wake up in the morning and work hard, but at the same time, it will say, keep sleeping, work some other time. How would you get success in life, how will you attract prosperity with such a deviated mind; either you earn wealth or misery. So, the mind is indecisive.
The mind says, we must practice righteousness, yet the same mind takes the man towards unholy deeds. The mind that moves in different directions, becomes multifaceted and a man with a mind like that becomes irrational. But, for realizing success in life, you must work like a seeker with a firm determination and single-mindedness. Work on developing a stable, deterministic mind – You will achieve victory for sure!
