Kailash Mansarovar | Dr. Archika Didi | June | 2018

Kailash and Manasarovar are not a question of belief or a question of faith. It is definitely a very enhanced space compared to what you normally live in.

The earliest Vedas and religious scriptures describe of a heavenly abode from where the creation leaped forth shining the ingenious enchantment of the ultimate certainty. Mount Kailash acts as the core of the world and the source from which everything originates and ultimately comes back. It is the center of the universe, mere a view of which washes away all sins and defends from the undesirable and the detrimental forces, and from inexperience and misunderstandings. Purity and serenity are two words synonymous to Mount Kailash.

Countless mythologies and folklores have motivated the paradox and mystery surrounding the mountain. It is famously known for Lord Shiva’s endless meditation.

Mount Kailash

It is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites for the Hindus. Along with, the serene and breath-taking Mansarovar Lake is one of the major attractions.

Kailash is the Abode of Shiva; Shiva is the Adiyogi. He is the first yogi and the teacher of yoga. It is synonymous to realising oneself, which allows us to connect with the basis of our creation and existence.

Mansarovar Lake is also called as the Lake of Consciousness. The divine lake possesses healing properties making it unambiguously celestial. It is the house of Kalpavriksha (Kalpatru). Kalpatru is the source of all creation. The holy tree is the wish-fulfilling divine tree.

The journey to Kailash Mansarovar open up doors to complete a different level of understanding altogether. At 21,573 feet, a trip to Mount Kailash is a life-changing experience. The mystic experience is a source of complete enlightenment. It makes us realise how small we are in this huge world of the creator and yet our existence is so big. It is big enough to make a difference, big enough to know the purpose of our existence and big enough to understand the purpose of life.

However, it is important to understand that Kailash and Mansarovar are not a question of belief or a question of faith.
