Women are the Shadow of God

UNGA has designated 25th November as The International Day for the elimination of violence against women (Resolution 54/134 ) Related to the murder of Mirable sisters 1960. The promises of the day are to raise awareness of the facts that women around the world are subject to violence in so many forms.

Human is the best creations of Great Almighty or Nature. And female human known as women are the shadow of God in itself. As per Indian mythology and ancient philosophy women are always most respectable (Yatra naryastu pujyante, Ramnte tatra Dewta).

As a result violence against women bounded us all to fix a day. It starts from the within the house itself, when a woman or girl child is not the preferred baby among a lot of societies in India. In college, public transport and workplace where eve teasing is now considered as usual practice. Unfortunately, most of the victims avoid reporting due to peer pressure and shame. Even after marriage dowry, domestic violence and marital rape also become a major reason to worry.

Gender inequality is not a women issue it an issue for humanity and affects us all.

What should be the best practical solution to destroy this evil practice from our society?

1 – Education

2 – Stop child marriage

3 – Never consider a girl as a burden

4 – Raise aspiration of girls and their parents

5 -Empower women to be financially secure

6 – Provide honest values of women’s efforts either making their own house

7 – Last but not least, hard and non-negotiable punishment for crime against women.

Let us reconsider and recollect that we are from the soil where Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born. And uncounted female stars are to remember and honored every day

Always remember that after nature woman is real creator of life.
