How does yoga & meditation help in sports?

One of the most important qualities which a player should have is concentration. In every game, you name it- gymnastics, cricket, shooting, concentration helps the player hit his or her target, i.e. achieve the aim. Every game is performance-based otherwise next time one does not stand a chance. Meditation helps improve concentration.
Secondly, a player has to be fit always. For this, regular yogic exercises are a must. Players tend to miss the top three positions simply because they are lacking in fitness.
In the workplace also, a ten-minute meditation- break can revitalise you because there also job is performance based.
